This standard applies to the black plate produced with normal methods of cold rolling and recrystallization annealing treatment1) carried out in a discontinuous (static) furnace or continuous furnace, with a rolling width from 500 to 965 mm and nominal thickness from 0.15 to 0.49 mm, supplied in rolls. It does not apply to products obtained by double reduction nor to products obtained with particular types of annealing. 2 The field of application of this standard may be extended, upon agreement at the ordering, to the black band with width and/or thickness different from those specified in point 1.1. 3 For cold rolled black stripe in sheets, see UNI 7647.
