This standard specifies the forms of drawing sheets, pre-printed or not. to be used for all technical drawings. It also specifies the arrangement of the graphic elements, establishing rules regarding: a) the position and size of the inscriptions box 1>; b) margins and squaring; e) the centering and origin references; d) orientation references; e) the reference graduated scale; f) the coordinate system; g) the corners for trimming; h) the folding marks. As a general rule, this standard applies to original drawings. What is described in 3 and 4 applies equally to their reproductions.
