By adding a solution of dimethylglyoxime in ethyl or methyl alcohol to a slightly ammoniacal or acetic solution of nickel, a red precipitate of nickeldimethylglyoxime is formed. The crucible with the precipitate is dried in an oven at 150 degrees C until the weight is constant, it is left to cool in a desiccator and weighed. Solutions and reagents. Method. Calculation.
