Scope
Dimensional coordination: branch of geometry applied to establish a programmed correlation between the shapes and extensions of the parts of a building organism through a conventional system of tools and procedures in order to allow the assembly of the components without cuts or adaptations on site. Modular coordination: dimensional coordination based on a particular convention that establishes the module and which allows the production of interchangeable and dimensionally selected components, with the reduction of dimensional variety combined with flexibility in the combination of the components themselves. Other definitions: reference system, general dimensions, module, reference planes.
