This standard applies to agglomerated abrasive products in general, with the exception of diamond-based products. It concerns:
——classification (shapes, dimensions and characteristics);
——the nominal dimensions (external diameter, thickness, internal diameter);
——the profiles of non-cylindrical disc grinding wheels;
——the tolerances on the internal diameter;
——marking. The normalized dimensions specific to each type of product are subject to particular standards (see UNI 7749 to UNI 7760).
