B1.— This standard establishes the conditions that labels must meet for containers with dangerous substances and for packages in general that contain such substances. Labels for steel cylinders containing gases or liquids under pressure are excluded from this standard. B2.— For the purposes of this standard, Oxidizing Corrosive Explosive Flammable Radioactive Toxic substances are considered dangerous in all cases where their state, concentration or condition is sufficient to cause harm to people.
