This part of SS 11 specifies procedures for the preparation of a test sample from a laboratory sample of animal or vegetable fats or oils for the purpose of analysis. Procedures for taking laboratory samples will form the subject of SS 11 : Part 1.
The method is not applicable to emulsified fats such as butter, margarine, mayonnaise, etc.
