This part of SS 78 describes a method for determining the density of partially compacted semi-dry fresh concrete. The method applies to plain and air-entrained concrete, made with aggregates having a nominal maximum size of 40 mm or less, but not to concrete with a slump of more than 5 mm when tested in accordance with SS 78 : Part A2.
