This standard contains graphical symbols tor analogue elements in fields such as computation and control, to be used in diagrams.
The symbols and descriptions have been prepared with a view to electrical applications, but may also be applied to non-electrical systems (eg. pneumatic, hydraulic or mechanical).
This standard is not necessarily applicable to programming applications using general purpose analogue computers equipped with a removeable patch (programming) panel.
