Scope

This standard covers non-interrupted creep testing of aluminium and aluminium-steel reinforced stranded conductors for overhead lines. At the test the creep elongation of the conductor is measured as a function of loading time, when the conductor is loaded by a constant tensile force at a constant temperature. Regarding quantities and units, Swedish standards mentioned under Clause 2 shall apply.
