Scope

This International Standard specifies the deviations and tolerances on the major diameter and the pitch diameter together with the limits of these diameters for ground thread taps intended for production of pipe threads G and Rp series according to ISO 228/1 and ISO 7/1 respectively. The internal threads produced with these taps are conven-tionally designated by the simplified denomination of "nut".
