This standard specifies the method to be used for the identification of polyethylene matenals in such a manner that manufacturer and purchaser can agree on the substantial similanty of different Commercial lots or shipments. Materials are charactenzed by a classi-fication system based on basic polymer parameters and recommended end uses.
