Scope

1.1 This Pakistan Standard prescribes methods for determining the weight of the warp and weft threads per unit area of cloth, after removal of add d maiter, if any. 1.2 Two methods have been prescribed for this purpose, to adopt any one suitable for the material under operation. 1.3 Added maiter shall be removed by the method as prescribed in Pakistan Standard Method for removal of added matter from Textiles.
