1.1 This standard prescribes methods of assessing the resistance of colour on dyed textiles, in whatever form they may be, i.e., loose fibre, yarn or manufactured fabric, dyed or printed, with any dye in any shade, to the action of bleaching baths containing sodium and calcium hypochlorite in concentrations normally used in commercial bleaching. It is applicable prin cipally to natural and regenerated cellulose materials.
