This specification describes the general physical, chemical, and microbiological methods for testing leather and leather products for conformance with the requirements of Pakistan Standard specifications. It was prepared in order to eliminate unnecessary or undesirable variations in the general sampling and testing procedures. This specification does not include special test methods applicable to certain leathers and leather products which are described in the appropriate detail specifications, nor does it include all the test methods for leather goods used in the industry.
