Scope

This standard applies to the requirements and tests of homogeneous elastomer materials for dynamic seals that are used in household appliances of all categories and the additional devices installed or intended to be installed therein and which come into contact with fuel gases up to 200 mbar. Materials in this standard are: treated from which dynamic seals are made, e.g. B — O-ring and oil seal — Valve dis seals Note: Elastomeric materials for diaphragms are covered in EN 278
