Scope

This part of ENV1159 specifies methods for determining the linear thermal expansion properties of ceramic matrix composites up to 2300 K and is applicable to 1D, 2D and nD reinforced materials. The standard describes general test conditions for the construction and calibration of the apparatus and for carrying out the measurement.
