Scope

1.1 This standard applies to hard drawn mild steel wire, plain or deformed, suitable for resistance welding, and intended for use as such or in fabricated form for the reinforcement of concrete. It specifically excludes high tensile cold drawn steel wire for pre-stressed concrete.
