The purpose of this standard is to establis the characteris ics of papers intended for all common needs in envelopes and postal pouches. Envelopes and postal pouches intended to be subjected to automatic sorting and which therefore have a format less than or equal to 120 mm x 235 mm cannot be made with paper containing stretches. This standard does not apply to “Airplane” papers.
