This standard establis es: 1) The maximum difference that can be allowed in the total thickness of a conveyor belt or belt, measured between any two points of its area and the appropriate measurement method. 2) The allowable differences in the thickness of each cover and the appropriate measurement method. The latter applies only to belts with covers that are at least 1 mm thick and that can be completely separated. However, -neither the total thickness of the band, nor the thicknesses of the covers, are standardized and must be set by agreement between the -buyer and the seller. The differences mentioned in section 2 apply to the thickness of the covers specified in this form.
