Scope

1.1 This standard contemplates the method for testing the color fastness of textile materials of any nature and state of preparation of the action of sea water. 2. This standard is also applicable to determine the fastness to seawater of a certain dye, dyeing with it, at the standard intensity l/l UR or another expressly indicated, a specimen, which is subjected to the test described here. .
