This standard covers the method for the determination of moisture and volatile matter of all common oils and fats, including emulsions, such as butter and oleomargarine and high acid coconut oil, but is not applicable to certain abnormal samples. such as solvent-extracted oils and fats which may contain solvent residues with relatively high boiling points, nor to samples containing added monoglycerides.
