1.1 The purpose of this standard is to establis the method for determining the humidity of papers, by oven drying, during sampling. 1.2 This standard is applicable to papers that do not contain appreciable quantities of materials other than water, capable of evaporating at the test temperature. 1.3 It is not applicable, in general, except to papers weighing less than 250 g/m2.
