This standard describes the determination of the air permeability of paper or cardboard. The determination of air permeability according to the Bekk method is suitable for dense paper types (for example, heavily satin-finis ed types with a high grinding degree). For less dense types of paper, the method according to NEN 2015 (Bendtsen) or NEN2016 (Gurley) is better suited.
