The standard applies exclusively to gas cylinders for medical applications and the associated valves and clamping brackets. For oxygen, the valve with side connection according to NEN 3268 may also be used. Comments 1. The purpose of this standard is among other things, to determine the connections for each gas separately on bottles with gases for medical applications, which are indicated in NEN 3268 for more than one gas, so that incorrect connections can be prevented in practice. 2.
