The information sheet is intended for the systematic recording of data in the chemical, physical, toxicological, ecological and safety technical areas. This concerns data that serves as a basis for determining how chemical substances (both synthetic and natural) and preparations can be handled safely. The information sheet should also include recommendations for the safe storage of these substances and preparations and their handling, for example during transport. On the one hand, in certain cases it will not be possible or useful to enter all the information requested on the information sheet, on the other hand it may be necessary to include information that is essential for safety on the information sheet that is not requested.
