This standard describes a gas chromatographic method for the determination of the content of monomeric diis cyanates, such as toluene diis cyanate, hexamethylene diis cyanate and is phorone diis cyanate, in is cyanate resins and their solutions for use in paints. The method is applicable for contents of 0.1 to 4% (w/w) of monomeric diis cyanates.
