This standard gives the dimensions of two series of rectangular refractory bricks. The bricks can be used together with the wedges, the dimensions of which are given in NEN 3496. Note The brick shapes mentioned here represent only a limited portion of the rectangular refractory bricks in production; however, these sizes are most commonly used in oven construction.
