This standard specifies requirements, rules for sampling and test methods for factory-made rigid polyurethane foam, with or without backing, and/or applied to a rigid plate, for the thermal insulation of buildings. The requirements relate to foam that remains unloaded or is loaded exclusively under pressure, or in the case of roof insulation, under tension. Note If other loads occur, additional requirements may be necessary.
