Explanation The mois ure content in concrete influences the bulk density of the concrete. For this reason, this standard indicates for different mois ure contents how the bulk density can be determined, namely:
——a determination of pm of concrete with the mois ure content, as it is at a certain time (eg upon receipt);
——a determination of gm of concrete after it has been completely saturated with water;
——a determination of gm of concrete after it has dried to a constant mass.
