The connecting terminals according to this standard are intended for use at mains voltages of maximum 6 kV. To avoid spray phenomena at higher mains voltages, use soldering sleeves without screws and with strongly rounded edges. For core cross-sections smaller than 6 mm2, the use of copper housings (tin-plated or nickel-plated) with a full-length solder seam is recommended.
