Scope
The standard applies to the examination of the following products: a. unmilled wheat, rye, oats, barley1), corn, rice, buckwheat and legumes; b. milling products of the raw materials mentioned in 2a; c. crushed products obtained from one or more of the raw materials mentioned in 2a (e.g. oatmeal, mixed malt, flakes); d. dry products prepared from unfermented dough, obtained from one or more of the raw materials mentioned in 2a (e.g. macaroni, noodles, pearl sago); e. all starches, except potato starch2). The method described in this standard is not suitable for germs or for products containing more than 5% germs or ground germs, for malted grain, or for products obtained from malted grain.
