Scope
The standard is intended to be applied to concrete pipes with rubber ring connections for pipes intended for the transport of water or waste water1) under free fall or an internal water pressure of no more than 0.05 MPa. Note It is the responsibility of the customer whether he will use round tubes of unreinforced, reinforced or steel fiber concrete, or flat base tubes of unreinforced concrete for his purpose. The standard can also be declared applicable to reinforced concrete and steel fiber concrete pipes for the transport of water or waste water with an internal water pressure of 0.05 to 0.30 MPa. Additional requirements for this are included in Chapters 6 and 7 respectively. Note It is the responsibility of the customer to determine whether, for his intended use, if a pressure of 0.05 to 0.30 MPa may occur in the water to be dis harged, he should use the reinforced concrete pipes mentioned in this standard. or pipes made of steel fiber concrete. In this case, the additional requirements mentioned under 6.4 and 7.4 respectively can be declared applicable to the order, as well as any other requirements to be further agreed between the customer and the manufacturer.
