2.1 The standard applies to the storage of images on microfilm in the form of a roll, strip or sheet, mounted or unedited and regardless of format. 2.2 The standard does not apply to the following materials and systems: a. vesicular film; b. slide film; c. silver film where development takes place by heat; d. diffusion transfer; e. stabilization systems.
