Scope

This standard establis es the analysis method for the determination of anionic surface active agents in drinking water and treated wastewater, using the methylene blue method and chloroform extraction, for the hygienic-sanitary evaluation of these. The method is applicable to concentrations between 0.025 and 100 mg/L of methylene blue active substances.
