Scope

This standard establis es general safety requirements for X-ray equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment), with a nominal voltage of up to 400 kV. This standard excludes equipment that works in a pulse regime, whose duration is less than 0.1 ms, and equipment intended to work in an environment where there is a danger of explosion.
