Scope

This standard establis es general safety requirements for the installation of pressure gauges in steam boilers operating at pressures higher than 0.07 MPa (0.7 kgf/cm2) and in boilers for heating water with water heating temperatures. greater than 388.15 K (115 °Cl. This standard does not extend to contact pressure gauges, control recorders and others of special construction.
