Scope

This standard establis es the method of analysis for the determination of chromium in soils by the spectrophotometric method with diphenylcarbazide, for their hygienic-sanitary evaluation. The method is applicable to concentrations up to 2,500 mg per kilogram of sample. Higher concentrations can be determined by diluting the sample.
