Scope

This standard establis es the method for the determination of co-balt in soils by the spectrophotometric method with salt-R-Nitrose, for their hygienic-sanitary evaluation. The method is applicable to concentrations up to 1,000 mg of cobalt per kilogram of sample. Higher concentrations can be determined by diluting the sample.
