Scope

This standard establis es the methods for the preparation, marking and measurement of samples of textile fabrics (flat weave, knitted and non-woven fabrics) and ready-made garments (hereinafter, garments) made with textile fabrics, which are subjected to dimensional variation tests when washing, dry cleaning, soaking in water or steaming.
