This standard establis es machining allowances, dimensional deviations and forging supplements for parts processed in free forging with hammers, from laminated carbon and alloy steels. It does not apply to parts whose forging is regulated by its own standards, or that are made from high alloy steels, or that have special characteris ics that do not make the application of this standard convenient or possible.
