This standard establis es the conditions under which the test of the fastness of dyes and prints to the action of boiling with diluted solutions of sodium carbonate must be carried out. This test method is applied to all types of fibers and in all their transformation states, particularly to natural and regenerated cellulose materials in any form. This standard considers two types of tests: one with the addition of the reduction inhibitor, and another without the addition of the inhibitor.
