This standard specifies the raw material, dimensions, tolerances, quality criteria and marking of polyethylene tubes of class PE 63 used for the transport of potable water under pressure at a temperature less than or equal to 25 °C . The tubes can be buried, embedded, placed in the open air but protected from sunlight, or submerged.
