The purpose of this standard is to set definitions and establis a classification relating to concrete adjuvants, mortars and grouts based on hydraulic binders (other than grouts for injection into soils). Surface products are not considered as adjuvants and are subject to specific standards (for example: for anti-evaporation products, NBN B 15-219 - Concrete testing - Efficacy of an anti-evaporation product -evaporating). It applies to products added to the usual constituents of mortars, concrete or grouts, defined in NBN 578, B 14-001 and B 15-102 with the aim of modifying certain of their characteris ics either in the state fresh, either during setting and hardening, or in the hard state.
