This International Standard specifies methods for obtaining samples of all liquefied petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gases conveyed by pipeline, excluding crude oil and liquefied natural gas.1' Automatic sampling is the most accurate to obtain a representative sample of an oil pipeline in which a product is being mixed. It is recognized that, in many countries, some or all of the points covered by this International Standard are subject to mandatory regulations imposed by the laws in force in those countries; it is important to strictly observe such regulations. In cases of conflict between such mandatory regulations and this International Standard, the former shall prevail.
