Scope

This International Standard includes the nomenclature, designations, marking and units of measurement relating to wheels/rims. The nomenclature and corresponding drawings are intended more to define the fundamental terms relating to wheels/rims than to establis a complete classification of all the components of a wheel. Equivalent terms relating to wheels/rims, in French, Englis and German, are given in the appendix.
