This standard sets the dimensional characteris ics of thin inclined keys with or without heel and specifies the method of designation and the material of these keys. The dimensions of the corresponding grooves and flats in the hub and the shaft, as well as the relationship to be respected between the shaft diameter and the key section are given in standard NBN E 27-711 — Keying by thin inclined keys with or without heel.
