This standard specifies the raw material, dimensions, tolerances, quality criteria and marking of polyethylene tubes of class PE 32 (i.e. having a nominal stress on 32) used for the transport of potable water under pressure at a temperature less than or equal to 25°C. The tubes can be buried, embedded, placed in the open air but protected from sunlight, or submerged. NOTE - The tubes must be installed and assembled according to the rules of the art (see NBN T 42-009 and NBN T 42-...).
