Scope

This standard describes the processes for sampling dust from a gas stream and determining the dust content of the gas. It applies to dust-gas mixtures flowing in conduits, such as chimneys, pipes, etc. . . It does not apply to ventilation and air conditioning installations, nor to clean rooms.
