Scope

This standard is intended for the evaluation of the resis ance of dyes, on textiles of all types and at all stages of processing, to dry cleaning. This test is not suitable for evaluating the resis ance of finis es on textiles, nor for evaluating the resis ance of dyes to stain removal operations carried out by dyers-cleaners (see 7.1 and 7.3).
